On the 10th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt of July 15, 2016, which targeted the unity, solidarity, sovereignty, and national will of our country, we once again strongly condemn and denounce the heinous coup and occupation attempt carried out by members of the FETÖ/PDY terrorist organization.
The Republic of Türkiye is a strong state that will always stand firm thanks to its deep-rooted state tradition and the unwavering wisdom and determination of its noble nation. Indeed, the greatest force that transformed that dark night into a triumph of democracy was the historic call made by our President, together with the unshakable determination of our beloved nation, who responded by filling the streets and squares. Throughout history, our nation has never bowed to any power or enemy. By defending its homeland, flag, and democracy at the cost of their lives, our people taught the traitors the lesson they deserved. In honor of this heroic resistance, we will always remember our martyrs and veterans of July 15 with gratitude, and we will never allow their sacrifices and heroism to be forgotten.
For the existence of a nation rests upon its enduring values that transcend time and place. Throughout history, our noble nation has established civilizations, upheld justice, and never compromised its freedom. There are certain sacred values that are non-negotiable and indispensable for our nation: our Homeland, Honor, the Holy Qur’an, and our Flag.
Inspired by this rich historical legacy and our national and spiritual values, we will continue to stand firmly with the oppressed and the vulnerable not only in our own region but across the world. The glorious resistance displayed on July 15 demonstrated to the entire world that our spirit of independence, our faith inspired by the Çanakkale spirit, and our unity possess the strength to overcome every challenge.
Those who seek to undermine the existence of our nation and state, and those who aim to confine Türkiye to a narrow sphere of influence through their proxies, should never forget this: The Republic of Türkiye will continue to stand as an impregnable fortress against every threat through the strong leadership of our state, the iron will of our nation, and our unwavering determination to safeguard our national and spiritual interests. Thanks to the historic achievements realized in recent years across many fields, Türkiye has emerged not as a country subject to external manipulation, but as a strong nation that shapes regional and global developments and, when necessary, changes the course of events.

With these thoughts and sentiments, we respectfully commemorate, with mercy, gratitude, and profound appreciation, all of our cherished martyrs—especially the heroes of July 15—who, from the Battle of Manzikert to the present day, sacrificed their lives to make and keep these lands our homeland and to protect our sacred values. May they rest in eternal peace. We also express our deepest gratitude to our heroic veterans and pray for Allah's mercy upon those who have passed away.
This noble nation will forever cherish your heroism and selfless sacrifices in its heart and proudly pass your legacy on to future generations.
