Rector of Kayseri University (KAYÜ), Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa, issued a message on the occasion of Mawlid Night, which will be observed tonight.

In his message, Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa stated:

“Mawlid Night is a blessed and special night on which we commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and reflect once again on his life, character, and messages that have served as a guide for humanity.

Values such as compassion, justice, honesty, brotherhood, and respect for human dignity, exemplified throughout the life of the Prophet Muhammad, continue to retain their importance despite the passage of centuries. Today, we need to reflect on these values once again and strive to uphold them more strongly in our lives and relationships.

I hope that Mawlid Night will once again remind us of the importance of spreading goodness, building bridges between hearts, and coming together around shared values. I pray that this meaningful night will contribute to strengthening peace, tranquility, and brotherhood in our country and throughout the world. On this occasion, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on Mawlid Night to all members of Kayseri University, our esteemed nation, and the entire Islamic world, and pray to Almighty Allah that this blessed night brings health, peace, and goodness to all.”
